Veteran's Day

As an American this is such an important holiday to celebrate! I know so many veterans who are modest about their service.  I know other's where the service life was and is their life!

Regardless, these men and women fight for our freedoms every single day! They sacrifice their "normal" lives so that we can have normal lives!  

My late father was a veteran and so was his father. They were both such gentle men. You would have never thought they would have ever experienced war.  I was fortunate enough to be able to keep their stripes.  I have them put up in a box, and  hopefully one day, I will be able to give them to my boys.

So when you see a soldier in their uniform or even their BTU's, tell them thank you for your service.  These men and women serve every day so that we can live in the land of the free!
